Letter From Jodie Morgan: Founding Editor
I always enjoy reading
’s in-depth guides on knitting techniques, and her latest one is all about understanding ease in making garments…Do you experience time slowing down while you knit?
’s latest piece is a thoughtful exploration of that topic. is color-coordinating her yarn with her project bag! Very clever.Reading others’ knitting project updates is such fun! I discover designs I never would have otherwise and learn how people think about their process.
’s update talks about the theme of perseverance., after finishing her latest gorgeous sweater, is at it again with learning new techniques! She’s knitting some socks with 9” circulars, something I’m yet to try. I love how cheery the colorway is.You may have heard of freeform crochet, but what about intuitive knitting?
has a fascinating post on the subject. And
has just knitted the most delightful gnome!Featured Article — Knitting At Lightning Speed: A Guide To Lever Knitting
“Picture a knitting technique so efficient it was once the secret weapon of production knitters. Welcome to lever knitting.”
Useful Tip — Choosing The Right Project Bag
“A dedicated knitting bag makes your life much easier, especially if you love to knit on the go. Choose a bag with plenty of pockets to store your needles, stitch markers, scissors, and of course, yarn. Avoid bags with Velcro closures as they can snag on your projects.
Ideally, the bag should have a secure closure to prevent anything from falling out, and a roomy interior to accommodate your work-in-progress. Some knitters prefer a bag with a yarn feeder -a small hole through which you can thread your yarn to prevent tangles.”

Harmonia’s Rings
I adore the clever use of Moebius knitting in Sivia Harding’s Harmonia’s Rings Sweater to create a striking yoke. Such a unique feature! The inclusive size range means this design is about creating something beautiful that fits well.
Recommended in Tosh Vintage from Madelinetosh (100% Merino Wool, worsted) or Plucky Knitter Primo DK (75% Merino Wool, 20% Cashmere, 5% Nylon) you’ll need US 8 (5.0 mm) needles for this project.
Bring Magic To Your Teatime
The Fairy House Tea Cosy from Suzy at TeaCosyFolk promises a whimsical touch to any tea lover's collection, featuring adorable details like a mushroom chimney and a bluebell light by the door.
Inspired By The Olive
The Olive Leaf Pullover by Ririko embodies the essence of nature's beauty through its intricate olive leaf motifs. The designer offers two hem styles. What catches my eye is the saddle shoulder construction. So clever!
She recommended using the Everyday Luxury yarn by The Uncommon Thread (100% Merino Wool, fingering weight), but since it’s been discontinued, I’d suggest using Twill from Knit Picks.
Lace Lovers, Meet Your Next Challenge
The Keziah Beret by
caught my eye this week, and it's worth a look! A mix of enticing lace work and practical choices between yarn weights gives it versatility. It’s just the detail-oriented project that intrigues me.She says you can knit it in any DK or Worsted yarn, so for a warm winter knit, I’d recommend using Valley Yarns Becket. She knitted the sample in AXIS Worsted (90% 20.5 Micron Merino Wool, 10% Suri Alpaca.)
